School uniform is actively encouraged to provide the children with a strong sense of community, particularly at this crucial time.
We ask all parents to follow the uniform policy as it helps to establish and maintain a sense of identity both within school and in the local community. It also helps to ensure equality among the children, who might be otherwise competing over the brand of clothing they wear. The following items should all be appropriately labelled with the child’s name.
Summer Uniform (May to October half term)
Lilac Gingham pattern dresses, (summer months)
Polo Shirt with or without the logo
Short Sleeved shirts (ties must be worn with this option)
Plain grey or black trousers, skirt, dress.
School jumper or cardigan (purple) when needed.
Black, flat-soled shoes (no trainers)
Plain, flat soled sandals (summer months only)
Winter Uniform (After October half term)
Plain grey or black trousers, skirt, pinafore.
White Shirt and School tie
Purple School jumper/cardigan and logo
Black shoes (no trainers)
PE Kit, stored in a named, school issue PE bag
Plain white or school logo T shirt
Plain black shorts
Hair ties for children with long hair
Pumps/trainers for games and wet days
No jewelry is permitted to be worn on any day. Only stud earrings are permitted to be worn and new earrings must be done during the summer as they will need removing for P.E. days prior to coming to school, for health and safety reasons.
NO make-up should be worn by children; this includes nail varnish on fingers or toes.
Please support our policy on hair by ensuring girls hair is tied up if long, and no tramlines, shaved patterns or extreme haircut styles are permitted.
Thank you for your co-operation.
In the interests of comfort and safety all shoes worn for school must have low heels. Clogs, mules, platform soles and ‘jelly’ shoes may not be worn.
